Hello Monday: 2/11/2013

Well, hello again.
I guess I have been a little absent around here lately.

Big Sis had a little medical issue, and then Lil Sis got sick.
We have been a non-stop party over here!

We woke up to snow one morning.
School was delayed - then cancelled.
Lil Sis was up bright and early ~ super ecstatic about the snow.
Big Sis was up not as early, but still excited about the snow.

When they came in from playing, Big Sis had some type of episode.
We believe it was a seizure.
She got to spend her day off from school in the ER of our children's hospital.
    {which was a fantastic facility, based on my limited experience there}

Many friends were covering us in prayer, for which we were grateful.
All of the tests came back with normal results,
so we got to go home with one more outpatient test scheduled - an EEG.

I must say, Big Sis is a trooper. Really, she is never sick, so this was definitely new for her.
I think she enjoyed the EEG - especially because she got to stay up late the night before.
     {sleep deprive a 10 year old - really the only one who gets "deprived" is the adult!}
She really loved her "after" hairstyle  :)

All of the testing has come back with normal results.
Big Sis seems to be living the normal 10-year-old life.
For this, we are incredible grateful.

After that, Lil Sis picked up some kind of bug.
Can I just say, blue jello does not look awesome the second time - you're welcome!

At the moment, I think we are all good.
Hopefully all of the nasties have been probably evicted from our house.
All-in-all, I think we have been very lucky in the sickness category!

So today, I am saying a few hellos:

Hello health, medicine, rest, and ginger ale.
Hello beautiful Texas skies.

Hello sweet little puppy doggies {Charlotte} who don't mind that I change her name daily
     {Charlolette, Sweet Baby Fungus Butt, and Charlemagne Le Montegue are my faves}
Hello bones bigger than our dreams.

Hello to blogging about some of the projects I have been working on around here.
Hello paint, sandpaper, and rearranging.
Hello to a new day, new week, new mercies!
